Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Urgent Guard website and apps, and any request you make for security services. By using this website or submitting a request, you accept these terms.
1. Who we are
Urgent Guard is a trading brand of Aberdeen Technologies Ltd, registered in England & Wales under company number 11705595, registered office Fairgate House, 205 Kings Road, Tyseley, Birmingham B11 2AA. Contact: hello@urgentguard.io.
2. Our services
We provide manned guarding and related security services using SIA-licensed, BS7858-screened officers, together with a client app that gives visibility of shifts, welfare, patrols and incidents.
3. Requests, quotes and bookings
Submitting a cover request through this site does not create a binding contract. A booking is confirmed only once we have accepted it and agreed the scope, timing and price with you, in writing or verbally through our control room. Quotes are indicative and depend on the information you provide.
4. Accounts
If you are given access to the client or officer app, you are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. We may suspend accounts that are misused or that breach these terms.
5. Officer engagement
Officers registering through this site are subject to vetting, licensing and right-to-work checks and will not be deployed until verified. Registration does not guarantee work.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the website or apps, attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with their operation, or use them for unlawful purposes.
7. Intellectual property
The Urgent Guard name, logo, website and app content are owned by or licensed to Aberdeen Technologies Ltd and may not be copied or used without permission.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, our liability arising from your use of this website is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Liability for the security services themselves is governed by your service contract with us and our insurance.
9. Privacy
We process personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
11. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page.
